A few minutes drive down to Lake Taupo/Acacia Bay, L' Arte Café, an hours drive North to Rotorua and South to Ski Fields and 10 minutes to the local golf clubs; Wairakei International, The Kinloch Club designed by Jack Nicklaus and Taupo Golf courses. 12 minutes out to the Taupo Airport, 10 minutes to Taupo's thermal pools, Huka Jets, Huka Prawn Park, Huka Falls, Wairakei Thermal Fields, Helipro, 20 minutes over to Mt Tauhara for tramping and an hour and a half to the ocean at Napier, the Art Deco City in Hawkes Bay Wine Country.
